In Kostanay region, the construction of a plant for the production of automotive components for commercial vehicles is nearing completion. Our team participated in the installation of equipment in two shops at once – the cast iron foundry and the machining shop.
In the foundry, we have installed about 80% of the equipment including:
- additive dosing section
- core department
- shakeout and cleaning lines
- internal and external shot blasting
- automatic trimming
- painting section and conveyor systems
More than 60 machine tools and machining centers were installed in the machining shop, ranging from compact machines to units weighing 40 tons. Four presses weighing from 15 to 90 tons, a robotic system, a paint shop, metal structures and a workpiece transportation system were also installed.
Work began in February 2023 and lasted more than two and a half years. At various times, up to 35 specialists were involved in the project, with an average of about 20 people on site. Our clients within this mega-project were 25 companies from Kazakhstan, Italy, Germany, Spain, Slovenia, Turkey, China, India. Most of them are equipment suppliers.
Equipment Used for Installation:
- gantry systems with 125 and 200 ton lifting capacity
- loaders from 3.5 to 10 tons
- scissor elevators and articulated lifts
- crane trucks
On the busiest days, up to ten trucks with components and oversized equipment would arrive on site.
